The Kiwanis Club of Stamford has approved funding for 3 college scholarships of $1,500 each to be awarded this spring (2010) to High School seniors who are residents of Stamford and who will be selected by the club’s Scholarship Committee on the basis of service to the Stamford Community, financial need and who can demonstrate academic potential and participation. 

To apply for consideration for one of these scholarships, kindly download an application (click here to download), complete it and mail it to the address on the application such that it arrives prior to April 23, 2010.

The application consists of the following:   

• A written application,
• A copy of your transcript, and
• A short essay on the topic: “What community projects should service clubs like Kiwanis be involved in?”
