The Kiwanis Club of Stamford (the “Club”) is an active member of Kiwanis International’s (“KI”) New England District, “a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.” The Stamford Club was established to support KI objectives and, operating as a separate entity, has been providing uninterrupted service to the Stamford Connecticut Community since May of 1917. Our Club has been involved with various community activities such as collection food for various area food banks, conducted blood bank for the Red Cross, conducted bicycle helmet safety program for youth, we evaluate first year achievers for Fairfield County Junior Achievement, ring the bell for the Salvation Army, support Stamford Basketball for youth, Stamford Soccer Youth league and Kite flying for youngsters.
